At CADSEV, students have the opportunity to specialize in one of five distinct strands within the Arts and Design Track. These strands include Visual and Media Arts, Performing Arts-Dance, Performing Arts-Music, Performing Arts-Theater, and Literary Arts. Each strand provides a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop students’ artistic abilities, expand their knowledge of various art forms, and encourage their personal growth as artists. By offering a diverse range of disciplines, CADSEV ensures that students have the freedom to explore their artistic passions and discover their unique artistic voice.

Where are we located?

Located in the vibrant city of Calbayog, P-6 Tomalon Estate, Brgy. Gadgaran, CADSEV enjoys the rich cultural heritage and artistic atmosphere that the city has to offer. Calbayog City has long been recognized as a hub for arts and culture in the region, providing the perfect backdrop for CADSEV’s creative endeavors. The city’s strong support for the arts, coupled with the commitment of CADSEV’s faculty and staff, creates an environment that inspires artistic expression and fosters a sense of community among aspiring artists.

Before the first Golden Harvest | How we Started

The establishment of CADSEV was the result of a collaborative effort involving key individuals and institutions. In 2015, under the leadership of Atty. Fiel Y. Almendra, the former Schools Division Superintendent, and Dr. Raul D. Agban, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, a dedicated task force was formed in conjunction with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Calbayog City, led by the late Hon. Ronaldo P. Aquino, CPA, former City Mayor. The task force, headed by Mr. Jovencio Sagadal and comprising members from various LGU offices and the Calbayog City Division, worked tirelessly to ensure the successful establishment and implementation of CADSEV.

On October 13, 2015, a pivotal moment in CADSEV’s history took place as the MOA for the school’s 3.5-hectare land was signed. Esteemed individuals present included the late Hon. Ronaldo P. Aquino, CPA, former City Mayor, Hon. Edgar Mary S. Sarmiento, Representative of the 1st District of Samar (represented by Hon. Regina Rabuya, Board Member, Sangguniang Panlalawigan, 1st District of Samar), Dr. Luisa Bautista-Yu, Department of Education Regional Director, Atty. Fiel Y. Almendra, former Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Raul D. Agban, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, and various school administrators. This occasion solidified CADSEV’s commitment to nurturing budding artists.

Through collaborative efforts and strategic alliances, the school has been able to secure strong partnerships and the necessary support to thrive.
